The importance of SEO
Most of us have talked a lot about SEO. SEO strategies, SEO plans, but what about SEO clients? It’s a fact that we, as digital marketing consultants, do not only consider the SEO internally but also externally. What about our customers?
A common mistake that I could find, is when a customer says “I have done SEO“, just after his website sees the light. Let’s talk therefore of SEO.
Internal SEO … or not?
This “I’ve already done the SEO”, I guess that means that the internal Google brand standards have been met, that the site responds to a suitable configuration of meta tags, h1, h2 and successive loading times, internal structure and all those things that a good SEO involves internal “structural.”
Can you hardly speak of “I’ve done the SEO” (internal, should be added) in the absence of a market survey? Well, let’s test that there is a set of keywords and page development consistent with these keywords, but reality is, therefore, nonexistent.
The influence of internal SEO
As noted in some of our posts, internal SEO has little influence on the search engine positioning. This is because everyone who wants to position a web does it, but also it’s true because of another factor: its weight in Google is minimal.
As examples, there are thousands. From a web content with a line positioned number one, due to a strong external SEO, to a website loaded with content that has been kidnapped, and the kidnappers are partially located over the hostages.
The key to success in SEO is not, therefore, to make a correct internal SEO but to develop a digital marketing plan according to all the features of traditional marketing.
So, the first thing we have to do is market research and competitive analysis. From this point we can talk about how to structure internally the web, and based on that structure, to tailor our sites to the required characteristics by the internal SEO.
With these features marked and optimized total, complete and absolute is when we proceed to further study to develop external SEO, and this is where the professionalism of each, where his studies and experiences make big differences.
SEO is not an infallible science, and there are different methods also are changing by time. SEO work of quality depends on a quality SEO expert, nothing else, someone who can adapt to change, who can analyze the sites, see the details that fail and be able to correct.

By the way, SEO is not something that you learn in days, weeks, or months, and attached to it does not produce spectacular results today for tomorrow.
Like in the stock markets, vertical growth, falls usually occur in vertical growth and step changes affect them to a lesser extent, when the trend is negative, what happens to those who make strong growths.
